New to me, this Pere Ventura brut blend of Xarel-lo, Macabeu and Parellada from the heart of Penedes in Catalonia has a greenish-gold shade and notes of yellow plums, baker's yeast, bread dough and preserved melon, golden apples, grilled lemon and scorched honey. It has a notable mousse and lovely levity and brightness. Good structure and complexity.
