Tangy, texture, spice.
Tangy aromas of red cherry, forest berries, leather, rhubarb, dried strawberries, cedar and cardamom with grapey undertones. The palate has powdery tannins to add texture and while the fruit has dropped off there are secondary spicebox, cocoa, leather and pipe tobacco flavours.
A wine for slow cooked dishes, tomato based sauces, grilled red bell peppers and other tapas.
