Harper's Trail is one of only a handful of wineries pioneering the Kamloops wine region along the South Thompson River. Owned by Ed and Vicki Collett, who have used winemaker Michael Bartier as a consultant since day one, Harper's Trail now has their own winery and has large expansion plans for the next decade or so.
Their estate is home to highly regarded limestone soils, which are responsible for making some of the world's greatest wines.
The 2018 is outstanding; snappy green apples, petrol, crunchy peach, apricot stone and white flower aromas lead to a taut and nervy palate. It is precise and pristine with a long racy finish.
