Golden, harmonious, fresh.
The White Gold is a reserve tier Chardonnay made from Fort Berens' estate Dry Creek vineyard in Lillooet; it was fermented and aged in French oak barrels .
A rich yellow hue, it delivers notes of sweet butter and roasted hazelnuts, spiced honey, golden pineapples, yellow plum and banana. Sweet pineapples and apple, spice and buttered nut flavours line the palate. Nicely touched with oak and the finish trails bright juicy yellow fruits. Harmonious and very enjoyable.
Pair: roast chicken, polenta with brown sage butter, cornbread, buttered popcorn, and smoked mozzarella.
