The oops Spicy Splendor is made entirely from an old Bordeaux variety that's been famously embraced and championed by Chile; Carmenere.
Priced with value in mind it offers sweet cherry and plummy notes rolled together with vanilla, violets, baking spices and licorice. A juicy palate leads with bright red fruit, cocoa, tealeaf and more spice. It's a crowd-pleaser; approachable and straightforward. A wonderful weekday dinner red with roasted veggies, hearty stews and soups or grilled meats.
