Fizzy, fresh, dry.
One in Stoneboat's sparkling series of wines and named for the white baby grand piano, which sits in Stoneboat's tasting room, this bubbly is made in Method Cuvee Close (meaning in a closed tank) like the sparkling Proseccos from Italy's Veneto region. It's also called charmat
The shade is a yellow gold and it rolls out aromas of apple juice and cantaloupe and Meyer lemons. It has a fizzy character and medium-sized bubbles. A creamy palate is dry and straightforward with a nice citrus peel and lemon pastry finish 100% Pinot Blanc; one-third aged in neutral new oak for seven months.
