From the hot southern Portugal region of Alentejo, this Touriga Nacional delivers brooding aromas of smoked spice and grilled bell peppers, black currants and leather, dark mocha, bacon fat and iodine. The palate echoes the savoury/salty character of the nose with red fruit and herbal flavours, smoked meat and spice. A wine for game, hard cheeses and red meats.
