From vineyards in La Morra gown on clay calcareous and sandy soils and aged 12 months in French oak, this fresh medium-bodied red is made for Italian dishes like pizza and pasta.
Cherry, licorice, cinnamon and rose aromas are woven with orange essence, pipe tobacco and cedar. It is juicy and dry, with small red fruit, brown spice and tobacco flavours. Fine smooth tannins linger across the finish. Rustic friendly character.
