Fragrant, fleshy, lovely.
Made by the Valpolicella-based Aldegheri, this white blend of Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Friulano, Malvasia, Riesling Italico, Cortese and Chardonnay is made from grapes (on average 30 years old) grown on the eastern shore of Lake Garda.
Its a delightful wine brimming with wildflowers, straw peaches, lime, green almonds, brulee and a hint of garlic scapes. The texture is slick and it has a bright fleshy character. Juicy young pineapple and grilled lemon flavours dominate. A lovely white, highly recommend.
Pair with gnocchi and creamy risottos, fish and rich cheeses.
