Snappy, layered, slick.
It's been many years now since I was in Yarra Valley, but one of my fondest memories of the Giant Steps wines.
Made from estate grown and hand harvested Chardonnay grapes, this 2023 regional Chardonnay delivers appealing notes of toasted hazelnuts, apple turnover, lemon, coriander and chalk with undertones of fresh mountain stream. It's snappy and citrus-driven with yellow apple and spice flavours. Slick texture, lovely weight.
