Opulent, plush, delicious.
The recently turned Rust Wine Co. (formerly Rustico Farm & Cellars) is located on Golden Mile Drive and is one of the handful of wineries allowed to use the designation Golden Mile Bench sub-GI. This wine comes from that bench.
Housed in a sturdy bottle with an orange wax sealed cork, this estate Merlot is rich and opulent; expect plum and black cherry, vanilla, spice and licorice with velvety chocolate notes. The palate is equally plush with supple fruit, intense mocha and sweet tannins. Approachable, delicious and lengthy.
