Expressive, fresh, savoury.
Made from grapes grown on the Fort Berens estate in the new GI of Lillooet, and blended with others from the Okanagan, the 2017 vintage of the this Cab Franc really shines.
Expect red cherry and red current aromas layered with leather, tealeaf, cedar chips baking spices and patchouli notes. The palate is smooth and spicy, the fruit expressive. It has notable freshness; distinct savoury/smoked bacon fat notes flavours to a long and juicy finish.
Balance, structure, it's all there. Speaking of bang for your buck, this version is just as good as the reserve one.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Blue Cheese & Cracked Pepper
