Pleasing, classic, fresh.
Tempranillo is common in Spain (and Portugal as Tinta Roriz), but certainly not in in British Columbia.
Strawberry jelly and cocoa, leather and tealeaf aromas roll into a fresh and balanced palate, which is an echo of the nose. Earthy, leathery and spicy it has character you would expect from this variety and pleasing balance.
