Plush, distinct, harmonious.
As a neighbor of Bordeaux, wine has been planted in the Bergerac region since Roman times. While mostly unheard of, it was once of France's first appellations, formed in 1936.
This Grand Cuvee is a blend of the classics: Cabernet and Merlot, and offers value we often don't think about from its prestigious neighbor.
Plush aromas of purple berries and violets are layered with unctuous chocolate, licorice, vanilla and baking spices. The palate, while leaner that the nose eludes, is structured and balanced with fine spice and cocoa.
A harmonious wine.
