Slick, juicy, tangy.
Stoneboat, located on the Black Sage Bench in Oliver is now owned by Valley Commons, a winery established in the District Wine Village--also in Oliver-- in 2021. It is owned by Rudy Verhoeff and Kyla Richey, former professional volleyball athletes. Both wineries fall under the Verhoeff Group of Companies, which is headed by Paul Verhoeff, Rudy's father. The family also owns a flooring company, a brewery and restaurants in the Fraser Valley.
This Pinot Noir rose is salmony pink and delivers fresh orange slices layered with aromas of strawberry cream, vanilla and rhubarb. It's an off dry pink, slick and juicy with orange strawberry and vanilla tones; it trails tangy rhubarb flavours.
