Delicious, racy, tangy.
O'Rourke's Peak Cellars is owned by Edmonton businessman Dennis O'Rourke who maintains a 300-acre property of vineyards and orchards called Carrs Landing, and 7-acres around the Peak Cellars Winery in Lake Country; in total, 110-acres of estate vines.
A rarity in Canada, this Austrian variety offers green fruit and citrus, star fruit and honey with floral and wet stone undertones. It has a lovely weight and concentration and racy demeanor. Delicious and lengthy it has some phenolic texture on the finish and trails citrus peel and herbal flavours.
