Dry, waxy, fresh.
Having undergone a packaging makeover, Play wines labels are looking quite lighthearted these days. The winery itself is outside of Penticton on Skaha Hills Drive and boasts some outstanding views from the winery and bistro.
A lovely Savvy, this one with crunchy peach, green apple, musk melon, lime and citrus blossom aromas delves into a palate equally fruity and similarly less verdant like the nose. Dry and crisp on the entry it grows creamy mid-palate. Golden fruit and citrus flavours dominate; it has good depth and a vaguely waxy character.
