WineDiva's Review

Potent, fleshy, creamy.
After whole-cluster pressing and barrel-fermentation, this Chardy was aged in French oak barrels (15% new) for 12 months. Citation blends high-elevation old-vine Chardonnay with young Dijon clone vines in order to achieve high levels of complexity, richness and balance.
It is a potently scented white with golden fruit, sarsaparilla, baking spices and butterscotch. It is rich and fleshy in the mouth as well; vanilla liqueur, caramel, star anise and clove are wrapped around honey and ripe fruit.
Not a shy Chardy, this one is a flash and plush weight with a creamy texture.
