Satisfying, concentrated, traditional.
Through a process of drying grapes called appassimento, this wine and others like it become much more concentrated. The Campofiorin continues the tradition of using classic Veronese grape varieties to produce this aromatic red blend.
Expect dried rose petals, cherries and fruit cake, baking spices and molasses woven with saddle leather and tar. The palate is earthy and concentrated, Good extracted fruit flavours are layered with floral, leather and cocoa. Bordering on brooding this is a satisfying red for hearty risotto or pastas, grilled meats and aged cheeses
