Concentrated, fragrant, savoury.
One of Portugal's darling varieties, Touriga Nacional is a rare find outside the Iberian borders.
Expect bold but juicy purple berries with salted licorice, chocolate and pipe tobacco, espresso and toasted spice aromas. It has a supple entry and is notable fresh; mixed purple and red berry flavours meld with coffee, spice and bacon fat. It has distinct salty/savoury undertones and a tealeaf finish. It's an inky wine, fleshy and concentrated.
