A Northern Rhone-meets-Okanagan style of Syrah, which is grown on the Cerqueira vineyard on the Black Sage Gravel Bar in Oliver. It is unfined and fermented with native yeasts.
This vintage is high-toned red fruit and wild berry aromas woven with peppery spices, dark chocolate and espresso. It is a stylish and fresh, honest and savoury. Once again, Michael Bartier lets his fruit shine rather than trying to force it to become something it isn't.
