Elegant, concentrated, complex.
Grown on the Naramata Bench, this clone 95 Chardonnay was barrel fermented French barrels and puncheons, then aged in barrel (25% new) for 10 months with partial malolactic fermentation.
Golden in hue and aromatic profile it delivers, roasted nuts and yellow apples, Meyer lemon, vanilla and toasted spice. Dry and juicy it shows lovely balance and concentration with just enough oak to add complexity and a good dose of creaminess. The finish is long and trails spiced butty flavours. Elegant.
