Ripe, woven, fresh.
All five varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec) in this blend were harvested by hand from Burrowing Owl's estate vineyards. The best barrels of each single varietal wine were selected for the blend. After the components were combined, they were barreled for another three and a half months and then bottled and left to mature further in a temperature-controlled environment before release.
Expect a rich nose with sweet ripe currants and plums, pipe tobacco, cola spices and mocha. It's a wine with a supple entry and notable freshness and structure. Nice length here with flavours of cocoa, and polished woven tannins.
