Canadian Textile Artist Collaboration With Absolut Vodka
Here is a snappy-dressed addition to your bar for this summer.
To celebrate Canada's 150th birthday, Absolut recently released a new bottle design that is as Canadian as well... poutine and maple syrup.
It is available across Canada $24-$30 ($23.99 in BC)
From the press release:
A tribute to 150 years of forward thinking, the Absolut Canada bottle was designed by Canadian textile artist Elizabeth (Libs) Elliott, who uses a custom computer program to design patterns and laser cutting tolls to create futuristic home textiles.
To convey a message of Canada’s history and future, the bottle artwork uses a traditional quilt block ‘Maple Leaf’ design and a modernized Canadian colour palette. Geometric shapes represent Canada’s diversity, and a grid reflects our expansive geography. The movement of shapes throughout displays a sense of transformation and unity that speaks to our 150 celebration of Canada.
Available across Canada beginning in May, Absolut Canada contains the same premium, Swedish vodka as a bottle of Absolut Vodka - known for its pure and natural taste - that people have enjoyed since 1979.
