Trivento Amado Sur Malbec, Mendoza Argentina, 2006
Trivento Amado Sur Malbec, Mendoza Argentina, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
The Amado Sur is primarily Malbec with 15% Syrah and 10% of the Argentine variety Bonarda.
It has plenty of rich dark berry aromas, hints of raspberry, chocolate and sweet smoky spices with savoury/meaty undertones. The palate is supple, almost glycerol with again, dark berries, chocolate and cigarbox, spices, cocoa and flavours of coffee grounds. Good acidity with a long dusty finish.

Rich blackberry and plummy aromas, earth, smoke, meaty notes followed by bittersweet chocolate and toasted spices. Dense and ripe on the palate with ripe spiced cherries and berries, fine cocoa and coffee grounds. Earthy and intense - made for rich meat dishes.
