Trivento

Argentina

Trivento 'Amado Sur', Argentina, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
This Malbec is blended with 16% of Argentina's "other red grape" Bonarda and 12% Syrah. It persuades you with sweet cherry and blueberry aromas, warm spice, vanilla, chocolate and hints of tobacco leaf. The palate is fresh, there are plenty of ripe berry flavours, espresso and spice with a savoury backbone. A supple, well-made wine with good acidity and a long smooth finish.
Very tasty!

Trivento 'Amado Sur', Mendoza Argentina
Readers rated this wine:

Made from 80% Malbec with equal parts Bonarda (Argentina's other red grape) and Syrah, the Trivento offers very good value.
Expect chocolate covered cherries, smoky savoury notes and baking spices on the nose. Nice freshness here with juicy fruit, spiced cocoa and espresso flavours.
A wine for pretty much anything you can throw on the grill or hearty pastas or stews.

Trivento Amado Sur Malbec, Mendoza Argentina, 2005
Readers rated this wine:
What a handsome package! The simplicity of black, white and red makes this bottle look far more posh than the price.
Rich with dark cherries and spiced berry aromas and vanilla notes. Smooth and lush on the palate with spiced plums, meaty hints, earth, cocoa and peppery flavours.
70% Malbec, 18% Bonarda, 12% Syrah.
Its intensity will pair well with meaty dishes.

Rich blackberry and plummy aromas, earth, smoke, meaty notes followed by bittersweet chocolate and toasted spices. Dense and ripe on the palate with ripe spiced cherries and berries, fine cocoa and coffee grounds. Earthy and intense - made for rich meat dishes.

Trivento Amado Sur, Mendoza Argentina, 2009
Readers rated this wine:

This savoury blend of Malbec, Bonarda and Syrah (73%/15%/12%) presents chocolate, blackberry, espresso and floral aromas with undertones of smoked spices, roasted meats and dried herbs. The palate is firm and rich with flavours of black plums, black berries and mocha. Nice structure, a solid value in a wine made for grilled beef or hearty meat or mushroom stuffed ravioli.
