Fresh, spiced, toasty.
The Stewart family's estate-grown Quails' Gate Chardonnay is bright yellow in colour and delivers nnotes of bold lemon, grilled hazelnut and toasted spice, burnt honey, vanilla and yellow apples. It's a bone-dry wine, with notable toastiness in the mouth; the finish trails spice and oak flavours. lashed with lemon.
Pair with grilled corn on the cob, rich creamy pastas or smoked gouda and pear grilled cheese sandwich.
