Generous, fresh, expressive.
The 2020 vintage estate Merlot was harvested from T7's North Oliver BenchÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Blue Terrace Vineyard and Front Yard Vineyard in Naramata. In Oliver the rich, rocky soils provide a foundation for superior grape quality while those from Front Yard Vineyard on the Naramata Bench add complexity and dimension. It saw two-to-three weeks of maceration time and was aged in American and French barrels for 18 months before bottling. Expect warm and welcoming notes of chocolate cherries and plums, vanilla, violets, cedar and earth and a hint of mint. It is a supple wine with solid balance and structure; plum, chocolate, coffee, earth, toasted spice and leather flavours dominate. The tannins are super fine. Pair: BBQ, hearty/meaty stews and pastas, roasted lamb, or medium to hard cheese

Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary
