Mark West Pinot Noir, California, 2006
Readers rated this wine:
The Mark West label only bottles Pinot Noir and this one is brilliant ruby in colour. It's attractively priced with earthy aromas of black cherry, cocoa, toasted oak, leather and savoury herbs. The entry is dry, with an earthy, dusty texture, the mid-palate is silky. Flavours are dark berry/cherry with cedar, tobacco and spice tones that linger through the finish.
