From R Wines of Australia, who've been notorious for bottling their wines under creative, attractive and usually edgy labels for years, comes this new addition Skulls Shiraz which boasts and incredible original artwork piece by Istvan Orosz.
The juice inside is exactly as you would expect by looking at the bottle - powerful!
It smells like you could cut it with a knife - luscious black cherries, black raspberry, licorice, vanilla and spicecake with a good dose of mocha chocolate to fatten it up. It's a full-bodied and generous wine with a supple glycerol texture laden with similar black berries, fruitcake and baking spices, coffee and licorice. The finish is smooth and lengthy, trailing chocolate flavours.
*By the way, do you see the skull first...or the man who looks like he's in a hammock?
