There's very nice value in this old world Viognier from the south of France.
Expect opulent aromas of apricot, mango, lime and honeysuckle with plenty of exotic spice. It has a slick, creamy weight and is quite a powerful, but not overblown style. There's a good dose of acidity to keep it fresh and a firm finish trailing citrus peel and spice.
There's a savoury component to this wine, which will pair well with pumpkin and sage risotto or spicy crab cakes.
