Focus, levity, pristine. Viognier, is a heavenly scented variety with an opulent character that shows its best under Township 7's winemaker Mary McDermott guidance.
This vintage is made entirely from the Fool's Gold Vineyard in Oliver and was fermented in French oak and stainless stell vats.
It's less potent than the previous 2019 vintage I tasted (that was a blend of two vineyard sites) with notes of starfruit and lemon atop faint honey, spice and nutty tones. It has focus and lively acidity, pristine, persistent and nice levity overall.
Pairs great with hickory smoked kettle chips, oily fish and Moroccan cuisine.
Pairs Great with Gone Crackers Roasted Shallot & Herb
