Stoneboat suggests, that after making a faux pas (social blunder), one might blush a bright pink - similar to the colour of this Pinotage and Pinot Noir rose. There's no blunder in Stoneboat's first blended blush though...it's a delicious amalgamation of strawberries, red cherries and orange peel spiked with peppery spices and cedar notes. The palate follows suit - a kiss of sweetness highlights the juicy berry flavours. Nicely balanced, this is a wine, which screams summer on the patio. I like it with Red Leicester or mildly smoked cheeses but it would also shine with smoked salmon, charcuterie or a simple Margherita pizza.
