Sourced mainly from California's cooler coastal regions this wine was aged in French and Hungarian oak for 8 months prior to bottling.
This is a very approachable red with fragrant floral notes, juicy raspberry, chocolate cherries, leather, spice and some forest floor undertones. But it is also not a shy Pinot Noir, the palate shows significant density with coffee, chocolate and spice flavours and some char and tobacco flavours lingering on the finish.
