A potent red laden with blackberries, plums, peppery spice, mocha coffee and savoury undertones of smoked meat and dried herbs. The palate is rich and plush - here coffee, black fruit and pepper flavours dominate. It has a firm structure and long finish, which trails spiced cocoa and succulent flavours.
A wine for grilled meats, hearty stews, or roasted mushroom sauces.
