This is the time of year I crave the richness of a creamy Chardonnay.
The aromas here are dark roasted hazelnuts and lemon curds with fine oak spice undertones. It has wonderful freshness (you may not expect in a four year old) and flavours to echo the aromas - browned butter, spice and bright citrus. The finish is long and powerful.
Recommended pairings: creamy fettucini, grilled fish, breaded and fried oysters, roast chicken or squash ravioli.
