One of a trio of Cabernets, which started with Edge, the Fuse is a Cabernet based blend with the addition of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It's the most expensive of its siblings, with the Edge at $29.99 and the newest, Trim at about $20-$25.
The aromas here are sweet and lifted - bright cassis, vanilla, crushed violets and mocha with fragrant pipe tobacco. It has a very pleasing freshness in the mouth - cassis is layered with cedar and spice flavours. Nice complexity and finesse.
A good investment when you want to splurge a bit - you won't be disappointed.
