A well made wine, which will impress big red wine drinkers. Malbec in BC is a curious thing - love it or hate it, it does have the BC stamp on it.
On the nose, expect spice rub and grilling meat, black pepper, dried herbs and black and purple fruit. On the palate, the fruit is expressive and sweet with black berry, plum and loads of peppery spice wrapped around a wild combination of savoury/smoked/meaty flavours. Very good balance with a smooth texture.
The wine dictates pairing with grilled foods, hard cheeses, robust dishes or stews.
