It's a great new look for the Hillside Estate Winery, located on the Naramata Bench, I really like their fresh, updated labels.
Made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Pinot Noir, this brilliantly hued ruby rose offers red plum and rhubarb aromas, sour cherry and cedar with savoury herbal undertones. The palate leads with cherry flavours and lingers with plenty of pomegranate, grapefruit and tangy berries. The finish is bright and snappy.
Pair with salmon or crab, tomato based pastas, simple Napoletana Pizzas or a platter of cheese, bread and salami.
