This delicious Victorian Pinot Noir is made from grapes from the cooler-climate regions of Strathbogie and the Mornington Peninsula.
It's a very fragrant Pinot releasing aromas of crushed dark flowers and cedar chips, bright berry fruit, toffee and sage with some beet greens mixed in. The palate is bold and expressive with sweet fruit, mocha and cedar box spices. The texture is velvety the tannins sweet and firm.
Worth searching out in private wine stores.
