Elegant, expressive, silky.
Spearhead sits high above Kelowna on a cool climate site well-suited to Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The 2019 Pinot Noir Cuvee is made from Dijon clones 115 and 667, 828 and Pommard; it was hand harvested and whole berry fermented then aged in blend of Dijon and Pommard clones and is matured in French oak.
Sweet raspberry tea, vanilla, cherry licorice and dried rose petal aromas are woven with fine spice, pipe tobacco and rainforest floor notes. It's silky with expressive fruit and flavours that mimic the nose. Lovely balance and length; an elegant wine.
