Elegant, verve, crisp.
Located in the Cowichan Valley, one of BC's youngest sub-GIs, Unsworth is a boutique winery that was acquired by Barbara Banke and her daughter Julia Jackson (Jackson Family Wines) in the summer of 2020.
Pinot Gris thrives on Vancouver Island and the Unsworth one is lovely. Notes of honey and Asian pears, starfruit and wildflowers with vague smoky/earthy undertones. It has elegance and verve with great concentration and a creaminess; the finish is long and crisp.
