WineDiva's Review

Mature, savoury, salty
La Riojoana is a co-operative that makes multiple labels available in our market including Raza, and the fair trade Timilmuqui. This colourful wine is made from Malbec and Syrah and is also organic and fair trade.
Because of it's age, I suggest drinking now if you do pick this one up.
Prunes and dried cherries, molasses and leather, pipe tobacco and white pepper aromas are echoed on the palate along with dusty cocoa and salted licorice. I like the complimentary blend here, and would be interested in tasting it when it was young and fresh.
