It's been a decade since I reviewed this Riesling and was surprised the residual sugar levels had not dropped much, if at all--especially with a trend toward drier whites. The stats say it has 8g/L but it seems much higher to my palate.
Expect peaches and yellow apples, citrus and plenty of honey, on the nose. That same honeyed sweetness rolls across the palate, it has a slightly flabby character, without the acidity to prop it up and make it refreshing. The fruit on the palate seems more dried that fresh and lively.
