A sibling to the refreshing Fifth Leg Semillon~Sauvignon Blanc blend, this rather serious (more serious than its label implies) red blend leads with sweet and spicy aromas. Expect cherries and black berries, baking spice and chocolate with pipe tobacco, cedar and green olives swirled in. It has a firm palate, bold and forthright - high-toned fruit, both red and black is layered with cocoa.
Pair with roasted meats or grilled eggplants stuffed with herbs, olive tepanade and Parmigiano Reggiano.
