Silky, woven, generous. Harvested from Dona Paula's estate in Gualtallary (at 1,350 meters [almost 4,430 ft] above sea level) the Uco Valley's Tupungato, it's a terroir with cool climate and mineral, rocky alluvial soils.
This is an outstanding Malbec, which has a plush nose laden with wild black and red berries, toasted spices and coffee, dried violets and tobacco with undertones of black chocolate and coconut husk. It's a powerful wine but the entry is silky; it is woven and has wonderful balance. It's a generous wine with a lengthy finish.
Pair with hard cheeses, roasted mushrooms or grilled meats.
Pairs great with Gone Crackers Parmesan & Rosemary
Rich Meats , Barbeque, GONE CRACKERS
