Silky, woven, mature.
Araldica is a third-generation, family-operated co-operative based in Piedmont. They work with over 230 Piedmont grower members and produce the high quality Piedmont wines from the most prestigious winegrowing DOC and DOCG regions including Barbera, Gavi, Langhe, Moscato, Barolo, Barbaresco, Monferrato and Roero.
The Flori 2014 is starting to brick, showing its maturity, and there are notable tertiary characters; dried cherries and strawberries are muddled with cedar, tobacco and brown spices. Bruised berries, balsamic, cigar, earth and fine spice flavours mimic the nose. It has a silky palate, integrated tannins, suitable balance and a med-long tobacco flavoured finish.
