Approachable, savoury, smooth.
Araldica is a third-generation, family-operated co-operative based in Piedmont. They work with over 230 Piedmont grower members and produce the high quality Piedmont wines from the most prestigious winegrowing DOC and DOCG regions including Barbera, Gavi, Langhe, Moscato, Barolo, Barbaresco, Monferrato and Roero. They also make wines from a number of other Italian regions such as this one from Salento in Southern Italy.
Notes of concord grapes and molasses are layered with cranberry, smoked herbs, soy sauce, salted game sausage, coffee grounds and saddle leather. The palate is smooth and fresh with juicy red berry, toasted spice, leather and tobacco flavours. A red for BBQ or weekday pasta.
