Kiwi artist Martin Poppelwell came to Constellation wines with an idea for funky and captivating labels inspired by vineyards around New Zealand. The People's Wines were born.
The Pinot Noir hails from the appellation of Alexandra in the South Island's Central Otago region (known for Pinot Noir).
Black and maraschino cherries, licorice spice and peppery aromas. The palate is dark, almost brooding in style (for a Pinot Noir) with spiced cocoa, espresso and cherry flavours wrapped around an earthy core.
