Mouthwatering, racy, pristine. Grown in the sub-GI of Okanagan Falls on Stag's Hollow's estate Shuttleworth Creek Vineyard, this consistently willowy Albarino is a delight. Grown primarily in Spain (and in Portugal where it's known as Alvarinho), it is a refreshing white that can be light and crunchy or offer deeper stone fruit notes. Expect lemon zest and wet stones, resin and nectarine, starfruit and a hint of hazelnut, on the nose. It has an oily texture and zesty citrus with green almond flavours. It's also racy and singular with a mouthwatering finish. Pair: seafood and molluscs, but also creamy goat cheese, salads and sushi.
